ROOTS ARE LARGE WITH 3 TO 5 EYES, AND OFTEN MORE.
We will be digging, dividing, and shipping our roots starting in mid-October. This is the very best time to be planting peony rhizomes as the plant has just finished it's summer dormancy. It is full of the energy needed to set a web of new roots. These new roots will feed the plant right away, and also set it firmly in the ground to help offset the threat of winter heaving.
