ROOTS ARE LARGE WITH 3 TO 5 EYES, AND OFTEN MORE.
We will be digging, dividing, and shipping our roots starting in early October and through November. This is the very best time to be planting peony rhizomes as the plant has just finished it's summer dormancy. It is full of the energy needed to set a web of new roots. These new roots will feed the plant right away, and also set it firmly in the ground to help offset the threat of winter heaving.
